Get off at Dhunkharka Geldung Bazaar (town center).

You will be met there, followed by a 45 min uphill walk.

If you have heavy luggage, inform the host in advance so they can arrange a motorbike to assist.
Option 2: Direct Public Bus
(Recommended to contact the host before choosing this option.)

Direct buses from Ratna Bus Park → Dhunkharka.

First bus at 7:00 AM, then hourly from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Travel time: 2.5–3 hours

Option 3: Taxi (Best from October–June)

Taxi fare from Kathmandu to the homestay: Rs. 3500 – 4000 (one way).
Notes:

During the rainy season, taxis may stop early, requiring a 30–45 minute walk.

Many taxis do not drop guests at the correct location, so contact the host before finalizing a taxi.
Option 4: Private Vehicle Pickup / Mountain Jeep (Available Year-Round)

A private jeep can be arranged by the host for USD 55 (one way) from Kathmandu or the airport.
